AfterHVAC Company in Lago Vista, TX
Dalton Heating & Air handles HVAC work across Lago Vista with written pricing before any job starts and a full-year written guarantee on every repair. Lago Vista sits on the north shore of Lake Travis, which means our crews deal with hill country limestone, steep driveways, and homes that run air conditioning hard from May through September. Whether you’re in a lakeside house off Lohman Ford Road or a newer build up near Dawn Drive, we show up inside the stated window and leave the site clean. Call (361) 306-9515 for a free estimate.
Why Lago Vista Homes Are Different
Lago Vista’s highland lakes location creates a specific set of HVAC demands. Summer temperatures routinely push into the upper 90s while humidity from Lake Travis hangs in the air. That means your system runs longer cycles on the hottest days, and undersized equipment fails faster here than it would in drier parts of Texas. The terrain matters too: many Lago Vista homes sit on lots cut into limestone hillsides, which makes condenser placement and drainage grading trickier than a standard suburban slab. We regularly see units that were set too close to retaining walls or installed without proper elevation, and over the years those installations collect sediment and struggle to shed heat. Housing stock here ranges from 1980s lake cottages near Bar K Road to newer subdivisions off Dawn Drive and contested hillside properties along Lohman Ford Road. Each type of construction presents different ductwork, insulation, and load-calculation challenges. Some Lago Vista subdivisions also carry deed restrictions on where outside units can sit, so we check before recommending a relocation.
Our Main Lago Vista Services
Most Lago Vista homeowners call us first about two things: an AC system that stopped cooling mid-summer, or a heating system that won’t fire on the cold February mornings when the hill country dips below freezing. Each service has its own Lago Vista page with full pricing and what to expect.
AC Repair in Lago Vista
Lago Vista AC failures follow a pattern. The systems that break most often are the ones that ran hard through July and August with dirty condenser coils, or units whose capacitors and contactors have corroded faster because of lakeside humidity. When we arrive for AC Repair in Lago Vista, the tech diagnoses the specific failure, writes the price down before touching a thing, and explains the fix in plain terms. No overtime charges, no surprise line items at the door. If the repair doesn’t hold, we come back free for a full year.
Heat Pump Installation in Lago Vista
Heat pumps are a strong fit for Lago Vista because winters are mild enough that the system rarely needs backup heat, and summers demand efficient cooling. A properly sized and installed heat pump beats a standard AC-plus-furnace setup on year-round energy use for most Lago Vista homes. Heat Pump Installation in Lago Vista starts with a load calculation, not a guess. We measure the house, check duct leakage, and recommend equipment based on square footage, insulation, window exposure, and how the home sits on its lot.
Furnace Repair in Lago Vista
Cold snaps in Lago Vista are brief but real, and when a furnace fails during one, you want it fixed before the next front rolls in. Most furnace trouble here is either a failed ignitor, a tripped limit switch, or a cracked heat exchanger on older units. Furnace Repair in Lago Vista gets you a same-visit diagnosis and a written repair quote before we turn a wrench. The repair is guaranteed in writing for a full year; if it fails in that time, we return at no charge.
