AfterHVAC Company in Aledo, TX
Dalton Heating & Air is the HVAC company Aledo homeowners call when a system fails and the forecast says 98 degrees, or when a furnace quits during a February cold snap on the Parker County side. We show up inside the stated window, put the price in writing before any work starts, and back every repair with a full-year written guarantee. Aledo is not a tract-home town. It has custom homes on acreage, established neighborhoods around the high school, and newer developments pushing west. Each one changes how an HVAC job gets done. If your AC or furnace is down, call (361) 306-9515 and a live person answers, day or night.
Why Aledo Homes Are Different
Aledo sits on the western edge of the DFW sprawl, where developments thin out into horse properties, big lots, and longer driveways. That spread-out geography changes HVAC work in ways someone working only in Fort Worth misses. Many Aledo homes are larger than the metro average – 2,800 to 4,500 square feet is common – which means two systems, not one. Upstairs and downstairs units are often different brands, different ages, and different stages of wear. A repair call here frequently starts with figuring out which system is actually failing, then matching the fix to a unit that may have been installed when the house was built 15 or 20 years ago.
We also see a lot of all-electric homes in Aledo, especially in the newer subdivisions and on rural lots without gas service. That makes heat pump performance the deciding factor for both summer cooling and winter heat. The same outdoor unit does both jobs, so a spring failure means no cooling, and a winter failure means no heat at all. On the repair side, Aledo’s hard clay soil and shifting slab conditions mean condensate lines settle and can back up faster than in other parts of the metro. We clear more blocked drain lines in Aledo per service call than almost anywhere else in our service area. It is just part of working this ground.
Our Main Aledo Services
Most Aledo calls to our shop fall into two buckets: the AC stopped cooling in July, or the furnace won’t fire during a cold snap. Here is how each plays out in this part of Parker County.
AC Repair in Aledo
Aledo summers routinely hit triple digits for stretches in July and August, and when a condenser fan motor or run capacitor fails, the house gets uncomfortable within hours. AC Repair in Aledo is our most common call between May and September. We carry capacitors, contactors, fan motors, and most common replacement parts on the truck so a large share of Aledo repairs are completed as a genuine same-day fix. Aledo’s hard water and clay soil also mean we check condensate drain lines on every cooling call, because a clogged line in this area can cause water damage inside the house, not just a loss of cooling.
Heat Pump Installation in Aledo
All-electric Aledo homes, especially in newer subdivisions and rural lots without gas service, depend on a heat pump year-round. When a heat pump reaches the end of its service life, the typical signs are rising electric bills, weak cooling in August, and lukewarm air in winter. Heat Pump Installation in Aledo is scheduled work, done right rather than fast. We size the system to the house, not the old unit, and we handle the load calculation and the removal and disposal of the old equipment. We install Goodman, Trane, Carrier, and most major brands, and we give a written fixed price before any equipment gets ordered.
Furnace Repair in Aledo
When an Aledo furnace quits during a hard freeze in January, the house can drop into the 50s overnight. Furnace Repair in Aledo is our priority call from November through February. The most common failures we see in Parker County are igniters, flame sensors, and blower motors. Many Aledo furnaces sit in attic spaces or closets that see big temperature swings, and that cycling is hard on control boards. We return every repair call with a written guarantee and a free second visit if the repair does not hold.
