The Promise, in One Paragraph
When Dalton Heating & Air completes a job at your home, the work is guaranteed in writing for 365 days from the date of service. No asterisks. No fine print buried three pages deep. If the repair doesn’t hold, we come back and make it right at no charge. That’s The Garrison Standard – the same commitment that has shaped every job we’ve done since 2003, and the same one Marco Benitez holds every Dalton technician to today.
What’s Covered
- The workmanship on your job. Any task our technician performed is covered – if the diagnosis was right but the repair fails, we own it and we fix it.
- Parts we supplied and installed. If a part we sourced and put in fails within 365 days, we come back and sort it out, parts and labor included.
- A free return visit. Scheduling that visit costs you nothing – no service call fee, no trip charge, no diagnostic fee to tell us what we already fixed.
- A full redo when a repair doesn’t hold. We don’t patch a patch. If the work needs to be done over, we do it over – properly, from the start.
- Clean-up before we leave. The Garrison Code ends every job the same way: the site is clean and squared away before our technician walks out the door.
- A written record of everything. Every job, every price, every guarantee term is documented. You don’t need to dig up a receipt – we have it on file.
What Isn’t Covered
We want to be straight with you here. There are situations where this promise doesn’t apply, and they’re the ones most reasonable people would agree aren’t on us.
- Damage from a storm, flood, power surge, or accident after our visit. If something outside our control damages the system or the work we did, that’s a different problem – but call us anyway, and we’ll take a look and tell you what you’re dealing with.
- Work another company or a homeowner performed on the same equipment. If someone else opened the unit or adjusted the work after we left, we can’t stand behind what we didn’t control.
- Parts the customer supplied. We can only guarantee a part we sourced ourselves. If you hand us a part to install, we’ll put it in, but the part itself is outside our promise.
- Normal wear on equipment we didn’t install or repair. A system has a lifespan. We cover our work; we don’t cover age-related decline on components we never touched.
- Problems you chose not to have fixed when we flagged them. If our technician pointed something out during the visit and you decided to hold off, that item sits outside this guarantee – though we’re glad to come back and address it when you’re ready.
- Issues unrelated to the original job. This promise follows the specific work we did. A different problem on a different part of the system is a new job – and it gets a new written price before any work starts.
How to Use the Promise
Step 1: Call us or book online
Reach us at (361) 306-9515 – a real person answers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, no voicemail queue. You can also book through our website if that’s easier.
Step 2: Tell us what’s happening and roughly when the job was done
Just give us your name and describe what isn’t working right. We’ll pull up the job record from our side – no receipt hunt, no form to fill out, no fee to start the process.
Step 3: We schedule the return visit
We’ll find a time that works and give you a window – the same kind of specific arrival window we gave you the first time. We show up inside it, just like The Garrison Code says we will.
Step 4: We make it right
Our technician reviews the original work, identifies what failed, and fixes it. If a part needs to come out and go back in, we do that. The goal is a system that works the way it should have from day one.
Timing
The 365-day window starts on the date of your service call – not when you first notice a problem, not when you get around to calling. If something comes up just past that date, call us anyway. We’re reasonable people, and we’re not in the business of pointing at a calendar to avoid doing the right thing. We’ll come look.
Every Dalton Heating & Air location is independently owned and operated, but every one of them is bound to The Garrison Standard. That means this promise travels with the job, not with one specific office.
Questions About the Promise
If you’re not sure whether your situation is covered, call (361) 306-9515. A real person will pick up, hear you out, and give you a straight answer. No hold music, no callback window, no runaround. That’s how we’ve operated since 2003, and that’s not changing.
